About This Class
Bryan Kest leads this expansive, community-driven flow class in a warm studio, opening with an extended Child's Pose and a deep dive into nasal, diaphragmatic breathing as the foundation for everything that follows. The class gradually layers in movement: Cobra warm-ups on the belly, a flowing vinyasa (Plank → Chaturanga → Cobra → Down Dog), and a series of standing and balancing sequences including three-legged Dog, Crescent Lunge, Warrior variations, and Airplane/Warrior III-style balances. Hip mobility is a central theme, explored through a detailed Pigeon Pose on both sides and a demanding wide-leg groin opener ("the devil's pose") with forearms on the floor. Backbend work includes a supported locust series with interlaced fingers, Bow Pose variations, and Reverse Tabletop. The floor sequence closes with supine leg lifts, oblique twists, Plow/Shoulderstand, supine twists, and a long Savasana paired with a breath-anchored mindfulness practice. Throughout, Bryan emphasises moderation, self-listening, non-competition, calmness under challenge, and using sensation as personal feedback — treating equanimity and deep breathing as the true "pose" of the entire class.

Not robust for me, missing a little bit more flow. Still perfect

More variety than other 90min classes I’ve tried so far, great flow!

Nice start and nice variety, definitely a great choice of practice if you’re looking for some serious hip stretches! I do wish there was a little more flow but it was still a quick hour and a half, I appreciated the long stretches and holds and, overall, enjoyed it very much and will add it to my favorites. Thank you!
