About This Class

Bryan Kest guides this dynamic flow class through a rich sequence that weaves movement, philosophy, and breathwork into one cohesive meditation. The class opens in Child's Pose and Downward Facing Dog before moving through an expanded sun salutation that adds lateral side bends, a backbend, and a forward fold with arms clasped behind the back. The bulk of the class explores a strong standing and lunge-based sequence on each side: Crescent Lunge, Core Twisting Pose (prayer twist), optional arm-under-leg bind, a hamstring-lengthening runner's stretch, a low crescent with quad stretch, and a Pigeon-style hip opener. Cobra is layered progressively from baby to full expression and paired with a prone locust/Superman variation. The floor sequence closes with a core series (scissor legs, boat-like holds), followed by supine twists as counter-poses. Throughout, Bryan consistently cues a "deep and fluid breath" as the primary focus, frames intensity as personal and sensation-guided, and reflects on longevity, moderation, and self-awareness — making this as much a mindfulness experience as a physical workout. No specific cautions are called out by the instructor.
