About This Class

Bryan Kest leads a wide-ranging 67-minute dynamic flow designed to cultivate calm presence through continuous, breath-synchronized movement. The class opens in Child's Pose and Down Dog before cycling through multiple rounds of a sun-salutation-style vinyasa (standing forward fold, plank, Baby Cobra, Down Dog) that progressively layers in side arm balances, flip-dog transitions, Crescent Lunge, Triangle Pose, Warrior III-style airplane balancing, and twisted half-moon variations. A highlight sequence introduces elbow balance (Bakasana prep / crow entry via tripod) practiced three times to build confidence. The class then moves into deep Hanumanasana (splits) work on both sides with extended holds and forward-fold variations. The floor sequence includes two minutes of bicycle crunches for core, Bridge Pose, three rounds of Wheel Pose (Urdhva Dhanurasana) with tiptoe walking, Happy Baby, supine spread-leg stretches, Plow Pose (Halasana), Shoulder Stand, and supine spinal twists on each side. The practice concludes with an extended Savasana, with Bryan guiding students to observe the mind and return to the breath. Throughout, Bryan emphasizes gentleness, self-modification, and deep nasal breathing as the primary tools for stress reduction and mindful living.

Not modest, but saving it to favourites for the days when I want to amp up the practice. A change in pace but enjoyed. It’s always the perfect practice.

Definitely more than a modest flow, but loved the opportunity to cultivate all that strength through the leg balancing, crows and wheels. Nice to have you both back!

Loved the class, loved the pace. I think it was a more vigorous flow than ‘modest’. Great class!
