About This Class
Bryan Kest leads a wide-ranging 70-minute dynamic flow that systematically works the entire body while keeping a consistent emphasis on deep nasal breathing as the true foundation of practice. The class opens in child's pose before moving into down dog and a side-body sequence, then builds through repeated rounds of a six-movement sun salutation flow (standing forward fold, plank, cobra, down dog). Arm-balancing and leg-balancing sequences are woven together with warrior one, warrior two (hero), crescent lunge, runner's lunge, and a balancing lunge, giving the legs, hips, and shoulders sustained attention. Prone backbend work — cobra, locust with interlaced hands, bow-like variations — counterbalances the forward-folding and strengthens the posterior chain. A toe-balance squat, seated baddha konasana forward fold, bridge-like tabletop hip lift, boat pose with twists, plow, and shoulderstand round out the session. The class closes with supine twists and a brief savasana. Throughout, Bryan frames the practice around stress reduction, mindfulness, and the ability to face challenges calmly, making this class equally suited to building physical stamina and cultivating mental resilience. Props are not used; intensity is modulated entirely through personal choice.

As Bryan says, a nonchalant flow with great arm and leg balance series. Left me feeling wonderful!
