About This Class
Bryan Kest guides students through a richly layered 100-minute power flow that earns its length by truly progressing through every dimension of physical fitness — flexibility, strength, balance, and cardio stamina — while keeping mindful, deep breathing as the constant anchor. The class opens on the back with gentle supine stretches, a bridge variation, and a shoulderstand/plow sequence before moving into a wide-legged seated forward fold. Students then work through an extended kneeling side-body sequence featuring side-arm balances, half-camel, and full camel. The standing portion introduces three progressively demanding vinyasa flows incorporating chair pose, crescent lunge, core twists, and heart-opening backbends. Mid-flow interludes include down dog shoulder openers, awkward airplane, and bow-like supine holds. The class closes with generous low-lunge hip flexor and lizard-style hip-opening sequences, a reclined quad-stretch twist, supine spinal twists, a seated forward bend, reverse tabletop, and an extended gratitude meditation before Savasana. Bryan consistently emphasises finding one's own "sweet degree," avoiding pain, and cultivating a calm, non-competitive mindset throughout.
