About This Class

This expansive class opens in child's pose with a detailed introduction to nasal breathing, deep diaphragmatic breath, and smooth breath rhythm as the foundation of both movement and meditation. From there, Bryan builds a progressive flow through down dog, cobra, plank, crescent lunge, standing balance (airplane/warrior-style), twisted lunge, deep hip openers (lizard and pigeon-like variations), and a series of standing and floor twists. Balancing challenges are layered in throughout—bent-knee balancing, single-leg airplane, knee-to-elbow core work, and arm-balance entries. Backbend work includes multiple cobra repetitions, locust/airplane variations, bow pose, and a plow/shoulder stand sequence. The floor cool-down features wide-legged forward fold, supine twists, core leg lifts, and a closing resting pose. Bryan consistently frames every posture around personal moderation ("the sweet spot between too much and not enough"), non-judgment, self-care, and breath freedom. The class ends with seated meditations on gratitude and compassion. Props are not called for; all modifications are body-guided. Cautions are not explicitly named by the instructor, though wrist sensitivity is briefly acknowledged as a self-modification option.
