About This Class
Bryan Kest leads a richly layered, full-body dynamic flow that moves at a purposeful but never rushed pace, inviting practitioners to treat the practice as a personal buffet — taking what serves them and leaving what doesn't. The class opens in Child's Pose with an immediate emphasis on diaphragmatic breathing as a meditation anchor, then builds through Downward Facing Dog, Cobra, and Plank sequences before progressing into an extended standing and balancing series: low lunge, Crescent Lunge, twisting lunge, extended side angle, triangle, twisting triangle, and airplane balance on one leg. Hip-opening sequences include lizard-style elbow-to-floor work, a standing figure-four (balancing pigeon), and Bruce Lee–style lateral leg raises. Backbending peaks with a locust/boat hybrid, Bow Pose (Dhanurasana), and sustained Cobra holds. The floor-based closing features a wide-legged seated forward fold, supine twists, and a long Savasana paired with a gratitude meditation designed to counteract habitual negative self-talk. Throughout, Bryan consistently cues softening the neck and jaw, keeping the breath free, modifying freely, and finding "sensuous" rather than forced sensation — making the class equally accessible to newer and experienced students willing to self-regulate.

The prolonged single leg sequence added potency to a 60 minute practice!

Wonderful, Bryan, thank you. With a few explorative detours, my personal eternal reach was more approachable.
