About This Class
Bryan Kest leads this "Sweetly Aging" flow as an exploration of longevity, presence, and gentle self-care rather than performance. The class opens in child's pose with an extended emphasis on maximum-capacity breathing and present-moment awareness — a thread that runs throughout every transition. The sequence moves through a grounded warm-up (child's pose, downward dog, spinal balance) into a repeating vinyasa loop of standing side stretches, low lunges, wild-thing-style openings, crescent lunge, plank, and cobra, executed on both sides with multiple layers of creative arm and torso variations. Standing balance work includes airplane (Virabhadrasana III variation), bent-knee balancing, half-moon, and twisting triangle. The floor sequence closes with a restorative ankle/hip squat, supine happy-baby and wide-legged stretches, plow, shoulder stand, and finishing twists, before a guided Savasana with a gratitude meditation and a "melting Jell-O" body-scan imagery. Bryan consistently frames intensity as sensuous rather than aggressive, encourages modification at every turn, and explicitly distinguishes pain (back off) from productive discomfort. The overall effect is a dynamic yet introspective class well-suited to practitioners who want meaningful movement without a competitive edge.

“What’s good is honoring your body. and , more importantly, honoring your uniqueness”. thank you , BK. this message is so important when looking for a leader who is interested in my personal health and not making me do something to my unique body that doesnt feel safe or comfortable. Super Namaste

I modified poses a lot during this class, some days we have more fire than others. Beautiful finish, I feel the melt. Thank you Bryan and Melissa, I’m practicing with you from Florida 🙂
