About This Class

Bryan Kest's "Sweet & Wet" is a richly philosophical 88-minute flow class built around one central idea: movement becomes yoga only when married to deep, fluid breath and genuine gentleness. The class opens in Child's Pose with an extended breathing tutorial designed to quiet the mind and reduce stress, then progressively layers in sun-salutation-style sequences (Down Dog, Cobra, Plank, Warrior One, Warrior Two/Hero, Crescent Lunge, Triangle) performed as a slow, sensuous vinyasa flow the instructor likens to Tai Chi. Long holds in Warrior Two challenge students to use discomfort as a training ground for calmness. The standing phase includes balancing poses (one-legged standing balance, Warrior Three-like flying shapes), hip-opening lunge twists, and Revolved Crescent. The floor phase covers Bow Pose, Locust-style lifts, seated twists, Head-to-Knee forward folds, Pigeon-style figure-four hip openers, supine core work (scissor-leg lifts, boat-like reaches), and spinal twists. The class closes with a seated breathing meditation focused on gratitude and a full Savasana. Throughout, Bryan explicitly frames the practice as self-care over self-improvement, repeatedly inviting students to back off, skip poses, or modify — making the class simultaneously vigorous and introspective.

Love this class, 3 sun salutations to warm you, then on to a long seamless flow incorporating all the fave poses. Stretching, wisdom, meditation of gratitude. Can’t ask for a better well spent morning
