About This Class
This dynamic flow class with Bryan Kest opens in Child's Pose and builds methodically through a full-body sequence that balances upper-body strengthening, lower-body work, hip openers, twists, and spinal lengthening. Hallmarks of the class are deep nasal breathing, fluid movement, gentleness, and moderation — Bryan repeatedly encourages students to find their personal "sweet spot" of sensation rather than pushing to extremes. The sequence moves through Downward Facing Dog, Cobra, plank-based core and arm-strengthening flows (knee-to-elbow, knee-to-forehead variations), crescent lunge, twisting triangle, extended side angle, warrior variations, pigeon-style hip openers, and standing forward folds. Throughout, Bryan frames the practice as self-care and prevention of atrophy rather than performance. The class closes with a cross-legged seated gratitude meditation followed by supine twists and a generous Savasana, making it as mentally restorative as it is physically comprehensive.
