About This Class

This energizing flow opens on hands and knees with a targeted shoulder "flossing" drill — pushing and pulling through protraction and retraction, with progressive hand rotations to build shoulder stability before any weight-bearing begins. From there, Cat-Cow, Downward Facing Dog, and a Vinyasa warm-up sequence prepare the spine and upper body. The bulk of the class is standing-heavy: Triangle Pose on both sides transitions into a balancing Triangle (half-moon variation), Warrior Two with detailed shoulder and pelvic-floor cues, a low Lateral Angle bind, a Squat/Chair flow with spinal twists, and a wide-legged forward fold with lateral walks. Low-lunge sequences feature optional quad stretches, deep spinal twists with elbow hooks, and half-splits (Ardha Hanumanasana). Eagle arms in a sumo squat and standing on the hands add playful challenges. The class closes with Locust/Bow variations on the belly and a guided retention breath in Savasana. Throughout, Byron emphasizes breath awareness, conscious relaxation into effort, and personalizing depth — making the class accessible yet genuinely warming.

Thank you Byron, This was a short class but you managed to stretch every joint and muscle group so well! I recently recovered from a frozen shoulder, and really appreciated the shoulder stretches and strengthening poses. Wonderful practice.
