About This Class

This energizing warm-up flow guides you through a progressive full-body mobilization with a clear emphasis on spinal health and joint lubrication. Starting in child's pose with intentional breathwork, the class moves into a "gyrating cat-cow" to get synovial fluid circulating through every joint, followed by wrist circles and shoulder rolls in tabletop. A playful "ping dog" sequence adds single-leg hip openers with isometric bicep and core engagement on both sides. The class then builds through downward dog, dolphin-inspired forearm plank with hip lifts for core work, sphinx pose with active tricep presses, locust pose (salabhasana), and cobra/up dog before finishing in a grounded forward fold and standing. The instructor offers consistent modifications for wrist sensitivity throughout, making this accessible while still dynamic. Ideal as a standalone morning mover or warm-up primer before a longer session.
