About This Class
This full-length dynamic flow with Bryan Kest opens in Child's Pose and Down Dog before building through Surya Namaskar A repetitions, one-armed Down Dogs, and an extensive standing sequence that includes Warrior, Hero Pose, low lunges, crescent/core lunge (the "crunch"), triangle, side angle, bound side angle, and both open and closed twists. Each side is explored with long holds in lizard-style splits that deeply target the quadriceps, hip flexors, hamstrings, and groin. Upper-body balance work (knee-on-tricep, Crow preparation) and Cobra variations warm the spine throughout. The standing series gives way to seated Baddha Konasana, a tabletop hip bridge, navasana-style core rotations, and supine twists before settling into Savasana. A defining theme is breath awareness as a measure of calm: Bryan repeatedly asks practitioners to breathe as if their mother is listening, equating a steady breath with emotional resilience. The pace is moderate-to-dynamic but the philosophy is deeply self-paced — modifications, early exits, and rest are encouraged at every turn, making the class accessible across levels while still offering genuine challenge.

Thank you so much Bryan. I wanted to work/move but not pound. This was a nice challenge. I love the slow pace. Mind and body more at peace.
