About This Class

This full-body dynamic flow with Bryan Kest opens with an extended settling period in child's pose and conscious deep breathing before moving through downward-facing dog, a flowing warm-up vinyasa sequence, and progressively more demanding standing and balancing poses. The class features lateral side-body and spinal twists in crescent lunge, triangle, twisting triangle, and half-moon variants, all sequenced first on the ground and then in one-legged balance to build toward greater challenge. Core and upper-body strength are addressed through plank, cobra, dolphin pose, and a one-armed down dog variation. Hip flexibility is explored in low lunge, bound angle (baddha konasana), supine figure-four, and reclined spinal twists. Throughout, Bryan places strong emphasis on breath freedom, jaw and neck softness, mindful transitions ("transition asana"), and self-regulated effort — encouraging practitioners to modify freely, skip poses, or rest as needed. The class closes with an extended savasana that Bryan frames as arguably the most important part of the practice for overall well-being.
