About This Class

This energizing yet well-rounded flow class opens in Downward Facing Dog and builds quickly through lunges, Warrior sequences, and revolving Warrior variations on both sides, weaving in Vinyasa transitions throughout. The instructor introduces the concept of "self-diagnosis" — using the poses themselves to reveal personal mobility, flexibility, and strength patterns rather than forcing depth. Standing highlights include Triangle, Warrior One, Warrior Two, Revolve Warrior, crescent lunges, prayer twists, and dynamic Chair Pose with twists on both sides. Floor work features Locust, Cobra, Bow Pose, and asymmetrical Superman-style backbend extensions that emphasize spinal traction and lengthening over height. The class closes with seated forward folds (Dandasana, Janu Sirsasana, Baddha Konasana-style), seated twists, supine thread-the-needle hip stretches, a supine spinal twist, and Savasana. Throughout, the instructor balances effort with ease, frequently cueing breath as the vehicle for deepening poses and encouraging sustainable, middle-ground effort. The pace is brisk but accessible, with modifications offered for injuries.
