About This Class
This energizing flow class opens with breathwork and seated centering before moving through two progressive warm-up sequences: a Plank-to-Down Dog-to-Cobra cycle and a Chair Pose–Crescent Lunge–Warrior vinyasa. The heart of the class is a richly detailed standing sequence that threads together Crescent Lunge, low lunge hip openers, deep hip-flexor and quad stretches (including a Dancer-style quad grab), twisting triangle, bound side-angle, and lateral side-stretch variations — all performed on both sides with deliberate attention to spinal length and breath. The floor section layers wide-legged seated forward folds, supine figure-four hip releases, and spinal twists before arriving at a seated gratitude meditation and a long Savasana. Bryan consistently invites students to self-regulate intensity, framing yoga as a practice of presence, calm, and honoring sensation rather than pushing for maximum range. The breath is treated as both the meditation object and a barometer of appropriate effort throughout.
