About This Class

Bryan Kest leads this expansive 99-minute flow class framed as a "sacred stroll" — a meandering, intuitive journey through virtually every range of motion in the body. The class opens on the floor with bridge variations and shoulder stand, then moves into wide-legged forward folds before transitioning through a standing flow of sun-salutation-style sequences including cobra, down dog, and plank. The standing sequence features warriors, crescent lunge with long holds, triangle, twisting triangle, side angle, balancing poses (airplane, one-legged balance), and chair pose — all woven together with a philosophy of listening to sensation rather than pushing for depth. The second half includes camel pose, a supine pelvic floor and hip sequence (happy baby variations, plow, Karna Pidasana), supine twists, and piriformis/figure-four stretches, closing with a seated gratitude meditation and extended Savasana. Throughout, Bryan emphasizes deep diaphragmatic breathing as the primary tool for quieting the mind, reducing stress, and discovering the right amount of effort. The class is deeply philosophical, repeatedly inviting students to let the pose conform to them, cultivate humility, and find their own "sweet spot" rather than striving for more.
