About This Class
Bryan Kest leads a dynamic, 70-minute flow class structured around three cumulative warm-up sequences — each adding new movements to the last — that together form a complete, full-body practice. The class opens in child's pose with a deep emphasis on breath as the primary tool for stress reduction and mental focus, a theme Bryan returns to constantly throughout. The first sequence introduces downward facing dog, cobra, and plank transitions. The second adds chair pose (squat-reach), crescent lunge, and one-legged dog variations. The third — the most expansive — incorporates standing side stretches, prayer twist, low lunge with elbows down, warrior-like twists, bow pose, and one-handed downward dog shoulder openers. The final segment slows into longer holds: seated wide-leg forward fold, supine twists, a knee-squeeze, and savasana. Bryan consistently frames every pose as a tool for gentleness and self-care rather than performance, encouraging students to back off, take breaks, and stay within "sweetness." The cool-down and savasana emphasize stillness of mind, natural breath, and appreciation of the body's subtle post-practice sensations. Suitable for practitioners who want a continuous, meditative flow that touches the whole body without extreme intensity.

I love the side lunge sequence – always gets my heart/breath pumpin and the sweat going! perfect on a winter day (or any day really) – and sooo appreciating the little balance moments snuck in there. classic for a reason!
