About This Class
Bryan Kest's "Reclaim Your Playfulness" is a sprawling, 97-minute journey that begins with quiet floor work — supine twists, shoulder stand, plow, and wide-legged forward folds — before building through down dog, sun-salutation-style flows, crescent lunges, warrior balances, standing splits, and an extensive one-legged standing sequence. The lower body receives exhaustive attention via chair pose, figure-four/pigeon-style standing and seated shapes, half lotus forward folds, and supine hamstring and hip-opening stretches with spinal twists. Throughout, Bryan frames every pose as a personal, sensuous discovery rather than a performance target, repeatedly coaching students to find their "sweet spot," moderate their effort, keep the breath deep and free, and treat the practice as moving meditation. The class closes with a seated mindfulness meditation focusing on subtle breath at the nostrils, followed by a gratitude practice and an extended Savasana. The overarching invitation — to reclaim childlike playfulness and shed adult self-seriousness — gives the class its distinctive, grounding-yet-energizing tone.

Great practice, thanks a lot! It reminded me of a 2,5 hour class in Turkey-retreat ))
