About This Class
This class opens on the back with supine hip openers and breath work before building through shoulder stand, down dog, and a thoughtfully layered standing sequence featuring crescent lunge, warrior, twisting lunges, wide-legged forward folds, and lateral stretches. One-armed down dog variations, forearm side balance, and cobra rounds out the upper-body strengthening thread, while seated forward folds in a half-butterfly position and supine spinal twists close the practice. Bryan frames every pose around two non-negotiable boundaries — calmness and safety — and consistently cues practitioners to find "the sweet spot" rather than chase depth or comparison. The long savasana is treated as arguably the most important part of the class. Overall the session addresses full-body stiffness, back tension, tight hips and hamstrings, and stress, making it equally suited to recovery days and regular practice, especially for those prone to overexertion.

A lovely change of pace. Still challenging, accessible, and full of opportunity to listen, breathe, strengthen, and lengthen.

So enjoyed this variation for warming up ! Sweetly strong on the stretch, balance and strength and on pulling our minds to that “benevolent place”. Much gratitude !
