About This Class
Bryan Kest leads this wide-ranging flow class with an emphasis on listening inward rather than pushing to extremes. The class opens in child's pose and downward-facing dog, establishing deep nasal breathing as the through-line for everything that follows. A progressive series of floor-to-standing sequences builds through cobra, plank, crescent lunge, and standing balance poses (including airplane and warrior-adjacent shapes), before moving into an extended standing and low-lunge hip-opening series — pigeon-style on both sides, triangle-family poses, and a bound twisting lunge. The second half addresses hamstrings, glutes, and the entire posterior chain via standing forward folds, a seated cross-body grab, and a deep pigeon/hip sequence with forearm holds. The class closes with a bow pose, shoulder stand, plow-inspired counter-stretch, supine twists, and a held savasana. Throughout, Bryan consistently frames the practice around mindfulness, moderation ("fifty to seventy percent"), and treating movement as meditation — making this session as much about mental decompression as physical conditioning.
