About This Class

This 11-minute kids' yoga class with Amanda Huggins uses the theme of tolerance — accepting both comfortable and uncomfortable experiences — as its guiding thread. The session opens in Mountain Pose (Tadasana) with counted breath work, inviting children to acknowledge frustrations and let them go on the exhale. The class moves through a gentle standing flow including side-body banana stretches, Forward Fold, Plank, Cobra, and Downward Facing Dog, before progressing to a simplified Eagle Pose (via Chair Pose) that challenges balance and patience. A seated Boat Pose (Navasana) tests core engagement, followed by a cooling supine twist and a full Savasana. Throughout, Amanda consistently returns to the breath as a tool for emotional regulation, making this class equally a mindfulness lesson as a physical practice.
