About This Class
This expansive flow class moves systematically through the entire body, opening with grounding breathwork and gentle Down Dog variations before building into a rich sequence of arm balances, push-ups (plank to chin), twisting lunges, Warrior and Crescent Lunge series, Triangle and Extended Triangle, standing balance work (Warrior III / airplane), and cobra and bow-like backbends. Core isolation work (leg-lowering "hundreds") and an inversions segment (plow / shoulder stand variation) round out the physical practice. Bryan Kest consistently frames every pose as an invitation — offering modifications (knees down, blocks, fists instead of palms) and explicitly cautioning students with recent wrist surgery or injury to adapt. The class closes with supine twists, a gratitude meditation, a compassion meditation, and an extended Savasana. The through-line is breath awareness as the primary tool for presence, focus, and stress reduction, making this class equally suited to experienced practitioners seeking a thorough full-body challenge and to those who want a deeply mindful, self-paced practice.

Love the “no salutations” classes… I’ve done enough to last me a lifetime. Where they do have their place, I love the other creative ways BK warms you up in this class. Everything touched. Work hard or back off. His experience, wisdom and encouragement are ever welcome in my life. Much gratitude
