About This Class
This expansive flow class opens on the back with gentle supine twists, bridge pose variations, and shoulder stand before moving through a creative, wide-ranging sequence of standing poses, lunges, warriors, and core work. Bryan layers in dolphin pose, down dog flows with leg lifts, crescent lunge, extended triangle, chair pose, and balancing poses, complemented by spread-leg forward folds, seated hip openers like figure-four and reclining pigeon-style stretches, and deep spinal twists. Throughout, he emphasizes breath as the true practice — using deep, fluid breathing as both a meditative anchor and a gauge of appropriate effort. The class closes with a gratitude meditation and a long savasana. The philosophy woven through every cue centers on moderation, sensitivity, finding a personal "sweet degree," and releasing the cultural drive to push harder. Suitable for practitioners seeking a long, comprehensive, mindfully paced session that addresses the whole body without leaving any single area overtaxed.

This is such an excellent class for opening up hips, back and shoulders!

I had to go back a few weeks to catch a Sunday flow, and it was well worth it. I love variation in my practice to keep me on my toes. And this one literally kept us on our toes! Namaste, Brian, Peoria, Ill.
