About This Class

This full-body flow class opens in Child's Pose with a strong emphasis on nasal breathing and present-moment awareness before moving into a methodical six-movement warm-up (Down Dog → Cobra → Plank) that gradually builds into a 21-movement sequence including standing folds, Warrior/lunge variations, and repeated Chaturanga-to-Cobra transitions. The middle section raises the heart rate with balancing challenges — standing leg extensions, airplane pose, side plank variations, and knee-to-elbow core work — targeting the shoulders, arms, core, glutes, and legs simultaneously. A prone back-strengthening series (locust variations and bow pose) directly addresses spinal support muscles. The class then moves to the floor for deep hip openers (Baddha Konasana, figure-four hip stretch), twists, shoulder stretches, table pose, leg-lift core work, plow/shoulder stand, and a long supine sequence targeting hip flexors and glutes through a creative foot-to-ear stretch. Bryan closes with a seated gratitude meditation and Savasana, framing the entire class as a mindfulness practice and safe space to rehearse calm living. Modifications are offered throughout; wrist sensitivity and knee fragility are flagged with opt-out options.
