About This Class

This dynamic flow opens in Child's Pose with an emphasis on active arm engagement, then builds through Down Dog, toe-waking drills, and a standing warm-up before launching into a sun-salutation-style sequence with fingertip plank and push-up sets. Standing work includes Eagle Pose (Garudasana), Warrior-hinge lunges, Skandasana side-to-side squats, Twisting Triangle, and Malasana. The class then transitions to the floor for a bridge-like hip lift, cross-legged forward folds, Janu Sirsasana, Paschimottanasana, supine twists with leg holds, and Purvottanasana before closing in Supta Baddha Konasana and a long, philosophically rich Savasana. Throughout, Dan Ward layers instructions about feeling the quality of movement — "how" over "how much" — and closes with a meditation on self-worth and non-judgment, earning the class its "Inward Gaze" title.

Love Dan’s classes! However by the end i definitely felt like i needed a few more poses to help relieve lower back. I did a few on my own at the end.

A wonderful 30 minute morning practice to slowly wake up the body. Lovely sequence.

Nice and slow, meditative. Some vigorous push-ups, but less of a challenging flow.

great, short class, nice simple mix of strength and stretch, mostly refreshing with some work along the way
