About This Class
This class opens on the back with gentle supine twists and hip openers before building into Surya Namaskar rounds, Warrior sequences, and standing balance challenges like Warrior Three and Eagle Pose. The instructor layers in bound side-angle variations, crescent pose twists, side plank, and dolphin/forearm plank for core engagement. A rich floor sequence follows, including half lord of the fishes, double pigeon, Baddha Konasana, seated forward folds, and Purvottanasana. Throughout, Dan Ward weaves in cues for wide-angle vision to calm the nervous system, breath awareness with ujjayi, and reflective language about self-acceptance, kindness, and using the practice as "a prayer for peace." The class closes with a long, guided Savasana centered on deep acceptance and love. Two blocks are called for, and a strap is referenced as an optional prop for bound poses.

I’ve been under a lot of stress at work and this practice takes me away. Beautiful, challenging, peaceful.

I am great fan of Dan’s classes, and this one is also great flow. However, I have to call out that a few big distractions when Dan started giving different guidance and support for one student annoyed me during poses. Without them, it would have been truly wonderful class to create Inner Peace.

Had a long week and this was just the peace I needed. Some challenge but all sweet and mellow. Thank you Dan.

So much appreciation to Dan; in his classes I get lost, in a good way, I don’t think any teacher/instructor/guide has ever gotten me so into the space in my body… much appreciation again for your way with words, I need no visual cues whatsoever. One day I’ll get to one of your live classes. Thanks from Oz.

I don’t know how to explain it: most immediately, this was a calming class. Yet, I surprised myself by breaking a sweat halfway through, and I considered it a good workout. Five stars and saving! BONUS: it has an “Om” in it — I”m a sucker for those.

Bless your heart, Dan, my daughter, Maria, visiting from Texas, and I chose your practice to enhance our own Holiday Transformations on this special day of Easter. “Transformation is Becoming.” Ohmmmm….

Dan, you are a master at leading yogis through an asana practice.

My first “full” flow practice since breaking my hand/surgery in June. Was perfect. Thank you.
