About This Class

This class is built around the philosophy that deep, free breathing is the true measure of a yoga practice — not how deep you go or how long you hold. Bryan Kest leads a 70-minute dynamic flow beginning in child's pose and moving through a repeating six-movement sun salutation sequence (standing forward fold, plank, cobra, down dog, and variations), progressively layering in one-armed balance work, three-legged dog with hip openers, crow/elbow balance (Bakasana and tripod), camel pose, seated wide-leg and bound angle forward folds, boat pose variations with toe holds, and supine twists. The class gives sustained attention to the feet and toes in a deep squat toe-stretch, the wrists as a counter-pose to arm balancing, and the shoulders through both strengthening and passive stretching. Throughout, Bryan weaves in reminders to listen to the body, exit poses early if needed, and avoid pain — framing sensation as guidance rather than an obstacle. The class closes with a gratitude meditation in seated stillness before a resting pose (Savasana), explicitly encouraging students to cultivate a benevolent, stress-free mind state as the deeper goal of practice.

A medley of every bk pose you love, and ones you don’t, but now do???? Non-stop movement of every muscle ligament tendon in your body, in a seamless flow that literally flies by.
