About This Class
Bryan Kest leads a 59-minute vigorous flow that builds systematically through three rounds of increasingly complex movement sequences. The class opens in child's pose and downward-facing dog to establish the foundational breath practice — deep, nasal, smooth breathing framed as the true core of yoga and a tool for quieting the mind. The first flow introduces a classical sun salutation structure (down dog, forward fold, cobra, plank). The second adds chair pose (utkatasana) and crescent lunges. The third and most dynamic round layers in standing splits, warrior-based twists, low-lunge backbends, forearm lunge holds, airplane balance, and open-leg forward folds (wide-legged straddle). The class then transitions to the floor for locust/bow pose backbending work, twisting down-dog variations, deep core scissors, plow pose, and a supported shoulderstand — finishing with supine twists and a final savasana. Throughout, Bryan emphasizes self-directed effort, gentleness, moderation, and tuning into the body's own signals rather than following external standards. Props are not called for, and modifications (knees down, fists instead of palms) are offered consistently. The class suits practitioners looking for a full-body cardiovascular and flexibility challenge with a meditative, mindfulness-forward philosophy.

Short but oh-so-sweet, simple but sweaty, with my favorite warm-up #3. If you’re pressed for time, this little practice will satisfy you for sure! Thank you!

BK this dynamic class saved me from my head which was thinking way too much about nothing important. Felt crazy going in; feeling relief, equanimity and a strong flexible body coming out. You and Yoga = the perfect combination. You’re the best…~*
