About This Class
This "Full Power" class with Bryan Kest is a comprehensive 72-minute vigorous flow designed as a complete yoga practice. The class opens in child's pose with an emphasis on nasal breathing and deep, rhythmic breath as the foundation for a quiet mind. It progresses through three increasingly dynamic sun salutation-style flows — starting with a basic six-movement sequence, then adding chair pose (utkatasana) variations and crescent lunges, and finally incorporating leg lifts, standing side bends, twists, and forearm-inside-lunge stretches. Balance work is woven in throughout, including warrior III (airplane), half-moon variations, standing knee-to-chest holds, and standing leg extensions. Deep hip-opening sequences on the floor feature lizard pose with chest openers, bound variations, and runner's lunge twists. The practice moves through bow pose (dhanurasana) and a final deep cobra before transitioning to a wide-legged forward fold (upavistha konasana), supine twists, plow pose (halasana), and shoulder stand (sarvangasana). The class closes with a guided gratitude meditation in seated position and an extended savasana. Throughout, Bryan emphasizes breath synchronization with movement, self-compassion, non-competition, and tuning in to individual sensation rather than pushing past limits.

My favorite class. I am not a fan of spinal balance and this is one of Bryan’s classes that does not start off with that pose. I love the sequence. Great lower body strengthening sequence.
