About This Class

Bryan Kest leads this energetic yet deeply mindful flow class that opens with child's pose and breath awareness before gradually layering in downward-facing dog, cobra, and a flowing sun-salutation-style sequence. The class builds through multiple rounds of increasingly complex variations—leg lifts, airplane-wing balance poses, inverted splits, standing crescent and warrior lunges, and progressively deeper twists—before arriving at arm balances (elbow balance/crow tripod), wide-legged forward folds, seated twists, and a core sequence. Throughout, Bryan emphasizes non-reactivity to challenge, softening the neck and jaw, and keeping the breath deep and free as anchors for mindfulness. Modifications are consistently offered (fists instead of flat palms, knee down, blocks) and students are encouraged to treat the class as a personal buffet, taking only what serves them. The class closes with supine spinal twists, a knees-to-chest squeeze, and savasana, framed as integration and rest after a vigorous effort.

Very challenging class. Sequences with balance poses one right after the other. I had to take many breaks. Terrific, but a little too intense for me at this moment.

Came into this class w two bricks of anxiety on my shoulders. Wonderful class…even thru the challenging bits when I couldn’t balance, it was all beneficial, all feeding my well-being. Thank you guys! Will def choose this class again.

A much appreciated practice full of vigor, balance and strength. Thank you for the opportunity to touch a lot of places, while breathing deep and free, and listening to my partner throughout the vicissitudes.
