About This Class
Bryan Kest leads a full-length vigorous flow class that opens with an extended breathwork and settling period before building through repeated rounds of a foundational sun-salutation-style sequence: downward facing dog, cobra, plank, and forward folds. From there the class moves into single-leg standing balances (warrior three / airplane variations), half-moon-inspired poses, side plank, and deep lunge crescent shapes — all threaded together with continuous vinyasa transitions. The middle section includes seated hip openers (bound angle, crossed-leg pigeon-prep), a kneeling camel backbend, toe balancing, and Navasana-family core work including Baddha Konasana and a playful archer/bow-drawing balance. The class progresses into a plow pose and shoulderstand as the peak inversion sequence before moving to a floor-based cooldown of supine twists, shoulder stretches with hand-clasping behind the back, and neck release. Throughout, Bryan consistently frames every pose as a gentle touch rather than a competition, encouraging students to listen to sensation, modify freely, and keep the breath deep and nasal. The class closes with a seated bhakti gratitude meditation and a brief savasana.
