About This Class

Bryan Kest leads a full-bodied, 69-minute dynamic flow that treats movement as a "mini life" — something to move through with a calm, present mind. The class opens in child's pose and down dog, establishing deep nasal breathing as its foundation, then builds warmth through a six-movement core flow (standing forward fold, plank, cobra, down dog, crescent lunge) repeated and progressively layered with additions: chair pose, warrior-based twists, prayer twists, three-legged dog variations with shoulder-opening arm binds, one-arm down dog with hand-to-scapula, side plank, locust, and bird-dog-style table-top movements. The floor sequence closes with wide-legged forward fold, a reclining figure-four hip opener, supine twists, and a compression squeeze before arriving at a seated gratitude meditation and final savasana. Bryan consistently coaches gentleness and self-regulation over intensity, inviting students to treat the practice like a buffet — taking only what serves them. The result is a class that is simultaneously challenging and deeply meditative, targeting the full body with particular richness in the hips, hamstrings, spine, shoulders, and core.

Thank you for a strong but approachable flow. I liked the story of the two wolves. It’s something I could use to teach my children life lessons too.

Appreciated the stronger flow today, definitely challenging calmness and acceptance when I had to pull back…. loved the guided meditation cultivating that sweet benevolence… so needed that one today!

Fantastic class! Did it another day, and at the end of a day, in a heat wave even. Sweaty, but also thorough and really good for wringing out stress. Thanks very much.

i haven’t sweat that much in a long time from a yoga session! thanks for the unexpectedly physically challenging class that kept me coming back to my breath as always. namaste

I only went through the first 35 minutes of this, because I usually only do 30 to 50 minutes’ worth of yoga. But it was great! I am sweating. However, it didn’t strain me, though it made me work. Great!
