About This Class
This energizing flow wastes no time getting practitioners out of their heads and into their bodies. It opens on the floor with pelvic rocking, supine knee circles, and spinal twists before building into demanding core and hamstring work — including single-leg lifts, "twist-tie" scissor leg holds, and seated big-toe pose. The class then moves through a vigorous plank-to-downward-dog shuttle before launching into a detailed standing sequence featuring crescent pose, standing twists, low-lunge variations with quad stretches, twisting triangle, and deep hip-opening work (including inner-thigh and pigeon-pose progressions). Forearm plank, dolphin, side forearm plank with an inner-thigh challenge, Chaturanga mini push-ups, cobra, sphinx, locust, and upward facing dog round out the backbend and strengthening layers. The instructor frames the class explicitly as a way to "get into your body," release accumulated tension, and enter the "yogic zone," making it ideal for anyone fighting low energy, stiffness from sitting, or the need to reset mentally and physically. The session closes with a final savasana invitation to absorb the work.
