About This Class

This energizing yet mindful flow class begins lying on the back with intentional breathwork and progressive core work — crunches, bicycle-style twists, and leg extensions — to build abdominal support for the entire practice. From there, the class moves through repeated sun salutation rounds building heat, then layers in cat-cow, plank, Chaturanga, Cobra/Up Dog, and Downward Facing Dog. Standing sequences feature Chair Pose with spinal twists, Crescent Pose, Warrior One with humble Warrior and bound-hands variations, Warrior Two, Reverse Warrior, and triangle-family side-body openers. Balancing work includes spinal balancing (bird-dog on hands and knees), three-legged dog variations with knee-to-tricep core squeezes, and standing splits. A forearm plank series and Dolphin Pose challenge the core and shoulders further, followed by Bow Pose and Locust-style back-body work on the belly. The class then transitions into a restorative closing arc: Pigeon Pose with a quad-release variation, seated forward fold (Paschimottanasana), Happy Baby, Plow Pose, Shoulder Stand, and supine spinal twists. The practice ends with a long, guided Savasana emphasizing gratitude and surrender. The instructor consistently encourages personal listening, compassion, and breath awareness throughout, making modifications accessible for those with low-back sensitivity.

One of the best one hour sessions, Tracey challenges you without wearing you out. Lots of core and flow. I felt my strength rising in the second half. Different levels among those in person.
