About This Class
This energizing flow class moves progressively "from the earth to the sky," opening on the belly in Sphinx and Locust variations before rising through Forearm Plank and High Plank, then flowing through Sun Salutation-style sequences into Crescent Lunge, Twisted Lunge, and Side Plank. The middle arc builds intensity with standing balance work—Warrior III-adjacent airplane shapes, Half Moon, and Twisted Half Moon—before descending back through Chair Pose and Yogic Squat. The class closes with seated hip openers (cross-legged forward folds and Baddha Konasana), Happy Baby, an optional Plow Pose, and a final Savasana. The instructor consistently links every movement to breath, cueing practitioners to abandon a pose before sacrificing breath depth, and offers frequent modifications (bent knees, blocks for half moon and twisted lunge). The overall arc emphasizes back-body strength, hip flexor and groin opening, shoulder mobility, and full-body integration.

The best!!! This is my go-to class, I’ve probably done it a hundred times over the years. It gets into all the right places, deeply. And in only a half hour.

Such a good class. I like holding the poses for longer, a mindful practice that really builds strength

It is a slower but very strong class. The longer poses are challenging and offer a nice variation to other faster flows. A little hard to understand some of the cues at times, but I got the hang of it. Namaste!

Definitely challenging, sweat inducing practice! Temitope’s instruction is focused, purposeful, & soothing. Will do this one any time I need a short, but challenging, workout!
