About This Class

Bryan Kest opens this 101-minute dynamic flow by establishing nasal, deep, full-lung breathing as the non-negotiable foundation of the entire practice — framing it explicitly as a moving meditation. The warm-up moves gently from stillness into table-top balance work, cobra repetitions, and downward-facing dog before building into a multi-round sun-salutation-style flow that layers in standing lunges, warrior-adjacent poses, twisting triangles, side-angle poses, twisting lunges, and balancing sequences. Hip-opening pigeon-like floor stretches appear on both sides, followed by supine core work (leg raises with shoulder lift), plow, and shoulderstand — referred to as "the king of all yoga poses." The class closes with a seated gratitude meditation, supine spinal twists, and an extended Savasana. Throughout, Bryan consistently invites students to modify, rest, or skip poses entirely based on how they feel; he never pushes past personal limits and explicitly addresses knee fragility and wrist caution. The philosophical throughline — releasing judgment, comparison, and reactivity while cultivating gratitude and self-care — is woven into every transition, making this as much a mindfulness class as a physical one.
