About This Class
This class uses the theme of "binding" as both a physical and philosophical thread — from binding the mind to the breath, to gradually introducing bound variations of standing, balancing, seated, and hip-opening poses. The practice opens with Child's Pose, Cat-Cow, and Downward Dog before moving into crossed-leg walks, Eagle Pose (Garudasana), and Bound Tree Pose (Ardha Baddha Vrksasana) with a forward fold. Two rounds of Surya Namaskar A build heat and rhythm before entering a standing sequence featuring Warrior Two, Bound Side Angle, Bound Half Moon (with optional Chapasana), and Three-Legged Dog. The floor sequence includes seated forward folds, Marichyasana A on both sides, Baddha Konasana, Pigeon Pose (with optional Chapasana bind), Bow Pose or Locust, Plow Pose or a supine forward fold, Eagle Twists, and a wide-legged supine stretch before Savasana and a closing seated meditation with mantra. Props like blocks and blankets are offered throughout. The instructor's cues are deeply meditative, consistently returning to breath, surrender, and the yogic meaning of union, making this class equally a physical and contemplative experience.

You’re awesome just the way you are 🙂 Thanks for that class. Loved the pace yet challenging poses and gentle approach-. Also very much enjoyed the sweet meditation at the end.
