About This Class

Bryan Kest leads this wide-ranging 70-minute dynamic flow that moves through a full-body sequence designed to build strength, flexibility, balance, and — above all — a calm, aware mind. The class opens in Child's Pose with breath-centering work before moving into repeated Sun Salutation rounds (Down Dog, Cobra, Plank) as a moving meditation. The standing sequence features challenging single-leg balances: Warrior-style hip openers with a low lunge side stretch, airplane (Warrior III variation), Bruce Lee Asana (standing leg extension), Figure-Four balance, and a karate-chop lateral kick. Core work includes Crow/Tripod headstand, Boat Pose (Navasana) with alternating leg lowers, and a deep squat elbow balance. The floor sequence covers seated twists, Half Lotus forward fold, reclined twists, Bridge Pose, and full Wheel for those ready. The class ends with a spinal rock to seated, a gratitude meditation, and Savasana. Throughout, Bryan frames every movement as a practice in hyper-gentleness, intimacy, and mental calmness — consistently asking students to prioritize smooth, deep breathing over physical achievement.

OK now you’ve ruined me with the guru grabbing your balls. That’s gonna be roaming around in my head all day and I’m going to be laughing out loud inappropriately when it does. Another fabulous class, Namaste maestro~*
