About This Class

Bryan Kest leads this classic, comprehensive flow that works methodically through the whole body. The class opens in Child's Pose with a strong emphasis on breath mastery and focused attention as the foundation of yoga practice. It builds through multiple rounds of Sun Salutation-style flows—Down Dog, Cobra, Plank—before moving into a rich standing sequence on each side: balancing lunge, Crescent Lunge, twisting lunge variations, side-angle stretches, deep hip openers with shoulder-under-leg poses, and Warrior Two. A prone backbend series (Cobra, Locust with interlaced hands, Bow Pose) targets the spine and upper back. Forearm Down Dog and knee-to-elbow core challenges weave in upper-body and shoulder strength. A floor-based core section with single-leg lifts, boat-pose variations, and oblique twists rounds out the middle body. The class closes with supine spinal twists and a guided Savasana. Throughout, Bryan returns repeatedly to the breath as the primary tool, framing intensity as personal and sensation-led rather than achievement-driven.
