About This Class

This class opens in Child's Pose with a strong emphasis on meditative breath awareness before moving through a progressive warm-up: Downward Dog, forward folds, and a foundational sun-salutation-style flow with Cobra. The heart of the class is three full rounds of a demanding standing sequence performed on each side — including Warrior/Crescent Lunge, Airplane (Warrior III variation), core twists, Bruce Lee Asana (a karate-chop standing balance), standing leg extensions, and Half-Moon-style transitions — interspersed with sets of chin-to-floor push-ups (15 total). Arm balancing is introduced via Crow/Elbow Balance and Tripod headstand, and a seated squat sequence includes a bound shoulder/spinal twist. The floor-based cool-down features seated forward folds, supine twists, Half Lotus forward bend, hamstring and hip stretches, and deep spinal twists before a final Savasana with a gratitude and mindfulness meditation. Bryan repeatedly cues students to honor their own range, keep the breath free, and resist ego-driven overexertion, making this a class as much about mindfulness and present-moment awareness as physical challenge.

Mercy me…Definitely a smidgen over an active sequence. Quite strong on the ankles, arms and legs! But my favorite part was the last 2 minutes and the beautiful reminders of taking our practice off the mat… Always so grateful !
