About This Class
Bryan Kest's "½ Hour Strong!" is a dense, dynamic flow designed to deliver a complete practice in just 35 minutes. After a brief centering breath, the class moves quickly through Downward Dog, Cobra, and Sun Salutation-style vinyasas to build heat. The bulk of the practice is structured around two full sides of a complex standing sequence: from Crescent Lunge, students move through twisting lunge, airplane pose on the front thigh, and a deep low lunge with forearm variations targeting the hips and inner groin. Side-lying arm-balance work, bird-dog extensions, knee-to-elbow core drills, and a challenging resting-knee-on-tricep arm balance add upper-body and core intensity. A prone camel (Ustrasana variation on the knees) opens the chest and quads before the floor sequence: leg lifts, scissor-core work, plow-like leg-over-head, and shoulderstand. The class closes with supine spinal twists and Savasana. Throughout, Bryan frames every pose as personal and modifiable, explicitly noting knee fragility and offering fist-on-floor wrist modifications, making this class accessible to intermediate practitioners while remaining genuinely challenging.

My dad recently passed away unexpectedly. I have felt frozen both emotionally and physically for several weeks. The pain in my body was building and my muscles have been tightening. I’ve been so uncomfortable. This class was absolutely perfect! It helped warm and release all of the major parts of my body and it was short enough to squeeze in before going to bed. I’m so grateful for this streaming platform and access to so many types of classes. Thank you so much!
