About This Class
Bryan Kest leads this hour-long vigorous flow designed to build stamina, focus, and full-body strength without tipping into strain or ego-driven effort. The class opens in child's pose with deliberate breath-settling before moving through multiple rounds of a sun-salutation-style sequence—downward dog, plank, cobra, and back—progressively layered with more complexity and breath synchronization each round. Standing sequences explore runner's lunge, deep hip-opening low lunges with forearm variations, twisting side-angle work, and single-leg standing balance poses (including Urdhva Prasarita Eka Padasana). Core work includes knee-to-elbow from down dog, leg-lowering with shoulder lifts, and plow/shoulder-stand variations. Back-strengthening is addressed through locust-style lifts and bow pose. The floor cool-down features seated forward folds, bound angle (baddha konasana), supine twists, and a closing compression/gratitude meditation. Throughout, Bryan consistently coaches students to back off rather than strain, treat each pose as an "opportunity to touch" rather than a performance, and use breath as the primary tool for cultivating a calm, present mind. Wrist sensitivity and knee fragility are acknowledged with modification options offered throughout.

I love that ” beauty of the human race” .strengthening my guidance system from within. Not buying into the visual propaganda (looking around at what everyone else is doing ) of intimidation and fear that if you dont stick your foot behind your head like that movie-star yoga person is doing that you will not be a good person. basically dont let some ignorant tyrant tell you what to do with your body.

A great practice — strong, sweet, and complete; plenty of strength, stretch, balance, wit, and wisdom. Thank you, Bryan
