About This Class
Bryan Kest leads this richly philosophical flow class with an unwavering emphasis on tuning inward — treating breath awareness as the primary practice and physical movement as its vehicle. The class opens in child's pose and builds through foundational sun-salutation-style sequences (cobra, down dog, plank, forward folds) before layering in standing balances, one-legged standing poses, and an extended bird-of-paradise preparation sequence with deep hamstring and hip openers. Highlights include Bruce Lee Asana (standing leg extensions), airplane-wing balancing, eagle arms on the knees, camel pose, and supine twists. A seated hip-opening sequence with foot-on-knee and foot-under-knee variations rounds out the active work before a grounded, extended savasana with guidance on quieting the mind. Throughout, Bryan repeatedly invites practitioners to find their own "right degree," keep the breath free and deep, and approach challenge with equanimity — framing the entire class as a moving meditation and antidote to stress.

Bryan, I chose to terminate this practice and search for another. Has the New Normal accepted masks, social distancing, and vulgar language as elements of this Norm? If your mother were listening to your practices, would she be receptive to use of obscenities?
