About This Class
Bryan Kest leads a full-body, breath-centered flow that opens on the floor in Child's Pose and builds steadily through Downward Facing Dog, Cobra, Dolphin Pose, and a layered Sun Salutation sequence. The middle of the class explores a rich standing repertoire — Warrior I, Twisting Triangle, Triangle Pose, standing forward folds, and a challenging Tree-Pose-into-forward-fold balance — before returning to the mat for prone backbends, supine twists, and a final Savasana. Throughout, Kest consistently cues students to personalize depth, take breaks freely, and prioritize breath quality over quantity or aesthetics. The class is framed as a "healing jam": vigorous enough to build warmth and strength in the legs, core, back, and shoulders, yet governed by a philosophy of gentleness and mindfulness that makes it accessible to a wide range of practitioners. Props such as blocks and fists are offered as alternatives, and modifications are modeled throughout. The closing sequence includes supine twists, a knee-hug, and a guided Savasana with an invitation to gratitude and silent meditation.

Legs are screaming tumbling, tumbling down

I really appreciated the different warm up sequence and the continuously building movements. Without spending too long or moving too fast in a particular pose, and without too much repetition, it kept me focused through to the finish. Thank You!

What a strong, even flow sequence. Just kinda flew by but stayed grounded with even sense of ease…

A definite warm flow with lots of opportunities to practice staying calm while strengthening and even falling:)
