About This Class

Urban Yoga Flow #1 with Travis Eliot is a high-energy, breath-driven vinyasa class that weaves together athleticism and mindfulness. The class opens with Mountain Pose and progressive Sun Salutation rounds that build heat quickly, then expands into deep standing sequences featuring Crescent Lunge, Warrior One, Warrior Two, Reverse Warrior, Extended Side Angle, Triangle, Half Moon, and Standing Splits on both sides. Balance work includes Tree Pose and Chair Twist, while core engagement is reinforced throughout with knee-to-nose transitions, Side Plank, and supine leg-lift exercises. The instructor repeatedly emphasizes the synergy between breath, body, and mind, encouraging focus and presence. The class winds down with supine figure-four hip openers (Thread the Needle), spinal twists, and Savasana, making it a complete practice that targets the hips, hamstrings, core, and spine while cultivating strength, flexibility, and balance.

Really glad I found this 3 class series! Definitely will be doing them again, I love the outdoor setting, and they’re all a great workout when you’re short on time!

Great class! Love that he just calls the poses! No preaching just poses!

Wow! A lot packed into just over 30 min. I LOVED the section working each quad – standing in warrior 1, 2, reverse warrior, triangle, standing splits, and more. Very creative and effective. Thank you, Travis!

I used to do this class often, when it just came out around 2013…? Well doing it again after some 9 years and it is still perfection! It has everything, stamina, elegance, equanimity, a complete flow. Thank you Travis for these great classes.
