About This Class

Bryan Kest leads this expansive, philosophically rich dynamic flow that begins on the floor with Child's Pose, supine twists, Bridge/Shoulder Stand, and wide-legged forward folds before building through three increasingly complex standing flow sequences. Each round of Sun Salutation-style flows grows to include Crescent Lunge, Warrior One, Warrior Two (Hero Pose), Extended Side Angle, Extended Triangle, and bound variations, woven together with Cobra and Down Dog transitions. Balancing work—Side Plank, one-legged balancing, and "Awkward Airplane"—challenges strength and stability. Deep hip openers including a long lunge-to-splits exploration and Camel Pose complement the upper- and lower-body strength work. Throughout, Bryan emphasizes deep, free breathing as the foundation of meditation, calmness as the true boundary of effort, and humility over ego-driven striving. The class closes with supine twists, core work, a seated gratitude meditation, and a long Savasana, leaving practitioners feeling grounded and restored.
