About This Class

Bryan Kest guides this full-body flow as a single sustained meditation anchored in deep nasal breathing. The class opens in Child's Pose and Down Dog before building into a six-movement sun-salutation flow (standing forward fold, plank, Cobra, Down Dog) repeated multiple times on both sides. Arm balances progress from a kneeling "baby arm balance" side plank to full side plank, while hip-opening sequences move through low-lunge variations with quad stretches, spinal twists, and deep pigeon-like hip holds. Standing balance work includes airplane pose and single-leg standing with knee-to-chest. Core strength is addressed through leg-lowering scissors and boat-like poses. The backbody is repeatedly awakened with locust variations鈥攊ncluding interlaced-finger chest openers and bow pose鈥攃ulminating in five-breath Cobra holds. The class transitions into a shoulder stand (Sarvangasana) preceded by plow (Halasana), baddha konasana (bound angle), supine twists, and a long Savasana. Throughout, Bryan frames every pose as an act of self-care and moderation, consistently inviting practitioners to find their personal edge, take breaks freely, and prioritize sensation over performance.
