About This Class
Bryan Kest leads a full 60-minute flow class that begins with deep, conscious breathing as the central meditative anchor and never lets go of that thread. The class opens on hands and knees, moving through several "dress rehearsal" rounds of a six-pose sequence — Downward Facing Dog, Forward Fold, Chair Pose, Plank, Cobra, and Crescent Lunge — allowing students to learn the flow before picking up pace. From there, the practice expands into side-body stretching, standing balance poses (Warrior-to-Warrior flow, single-leg balance with airplane arms), deep hip-opening (pigeon-style hip openers, low lunge variations with hamstring lengthening), spinal twists in supine, and a quiet Savasana. Throughout, Kest weaves in philosophy about breath, self-compassion, and releasing the ego's drive for "more." The class closes with supine twists, a double-knee squeeze, and an extended Savasana with instructions to let the breath return to its natural rhythm. Ideal for practitioners returning from a break or anyone seeking a grounding, moderately vigorous flow that prioritizes mindful sensation over intensity.
