About This Class
Bryan Kest leads a richly layered, 70-minute dynamic flow class that begins gently in Child's Pose and Downward Facing Dog, then builds through three sequential warm-up flows — each adding new movements like Utkatasana, Crescent Lunge, core twists, heart-openers, and deep hip/groin stretches — before arriving at a sustained peak of standing poses, balancing challenges, backbends, and lateral stretches. Throughout, Bryan frames the practice not as a physical achievement but as a meditation: the real work is keeping the breath spilling deep and free through every vicissitude. Key themes include personalizing the practice ("color in the outline"), embracing moderation over intensity, and cultivating sensitivity to sensation. The class targets the hamstrings, quadriceps, hips, spine, shoulders, and chest, with prolonged holds in low lunge and split-like hip-opener variations. A grounding, breath-focused Savasana closes the session, inviting students to detect the subtle touch of breath at the nostrils as a mindfulness anchor. Suitable for practitioners who want a full-body challenge wrapped in a deeply philosophical, non-competitive ethos.

love your saying “absorbing stuff using my mentality” spending this time not looking at or listening to “others ” opinions . Cuz its a psychological fact that the mind believes what it sees most often….(another great line) …..I used that manipulatively plenty of times to sell for Big Pharma …….over twenty five years ….people believe anything over time……So strong to stay seated and centered where real wisdom is . Only way to make personal decisions about my body’s needs. namaste.

That was definitely a challenge to my calmness! But even though that one was a tizzie, I didn’t allow myself to get into a tizzie fit:). I took my breaks and respected boundaries without judgement. That’s what I sooo love about your classes… making sure the emphasis is taking this practice off the mat. Not enough gratitude for those constant reminders! Mucho amor y carino Bryan and Melissa !!
